leichte bis mittlere Abnutzung an Möbeln und Wänden aber im Großen und Ganzen sehr empfehlenswert und für die Lage sehr ruhig.

War alles ok, schönes großes Apartment. Allerdings wie so oft in Berlin ohne Rollläden an den Fenstern- wer also eher Langschläfer ist, sollte nicht ohne Augenbinde reisen^^ Außerdem gibt es nicht zu allen Zimmern einen Aufzug- wir waren im 4.Stock und hatten viel Gepäck, das nächste Mal buchen wir ein Apartment MIT Aufzug.

Leckeres Essen direkt in der Lobby, guter Service, nettes Personal. Gern wieder!

Sehr schönes Appartement, ruhig, gemütlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Dusche, deren Wasser entweder super-heiß oder kalt war.

Das Appartement war wirklich super! Allerdings fragen wir uns nach wie vor was an unserem "schön dekadent" Frühstück dekadent war? Lecker wars ja, aber nicht besonders viel.....Ansonsten fanden wir das Appartement echt super! alles da was man braucht, zentral und trotzdem ruhig, top!!

Ich habe mich über Silvester sehr wohlgefühlt und bin begeistert von der kemütlichen Einrichtiung der Appartments.

Ich habe nur ein bisschen die Handtücher vermisst in der Grand Family suite, ich hätte mir einfach pro Person ein Handtuch mehr gewünscht.

Ich fande es auch als sehr junge Erwachsene sehr angenehm,den gleichen service zu erhalten wie alle anderen,weil dass ist nicht unbedinkt zu erwarten.  

Ich würde immer gerne wieder kommen :)

Were SCHOENHOUSE 11 to January 15 - two adults and two children - twins 3 years old. Everything was very good. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, when booking, it was stated that enabled Continental zaavtrak, but retsepshen told us that you have to pay for it separately, we were unpleasantly surprised. The rest of us all very much.

Wurden SCHOENHOUSE 11 bis 15. Januar - zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder - Zwillinge 3 Jahre alt. Alles war sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und komfortabel. Doch bei der Buchung darauf hingewiesen wurde, die aktiviert Continental zaavtrak, aber retsepshen erzählte uns, dass Sie diese gesondert zu bezahlen haben, waren wir unangenehm überrascht. Der Rest von uns allen sehr gut gefallen.

Nous sommes arrivées un dimanche soir, en dehors des heures d'ouverture, grâce aux échanges de mail avec le personnel, nous avons obtenu très facilement nos clefs.

Perfekte Lage , U-Bahn ganz nah, ruhig, sehr helle und große Zimmer, sehr sauber, minimale Abzugspunken bei Frühstück ( 7,50€ Für Decadent übertrieben).

Mit anderen Wörten sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Zimmer waren sehr sauber, die Möbeln haben leider ein bißchen nach Ikea ausgesehen . In den Betten konnte man sich angenehm erholen.Für große Menschen jedoch ein bißchen klein. Das Frühstück war gut. Der Tresen mit integrierter Küche hat mir gefallen, dürfte aber einen Tick sauberer sein. Der Innenhof ist sehr gepflegt!

Ich wollte heut gegen 14 uhr bei euch im haus unten etwas essen-aber soetwas hab ich lang nicht mehr erlebt--sch... servise von den 3 herrn 2 köche ein kellner...geht grar nicht--nie wieder...werd es auch gern meinen leuten so weiter geben wie --null das war..sorry.....

Wir hatten einen Groupon Gutschein und waren sehr begeistert von dem Apartment und der Lage der Anlage. Allerdings finde ich den Preis ohne Gutschein ein bisschen hoch.

Un séjour très agréable, un accueil charmant et efficace. Bon petit déjeuner, emplacemet idéal.

Le seul petit bémol ce sont ces escaliers à gravir jusqu'au 5e étage, qui sont bien raides. Cela dit, nous étions avertis et on finit par s'habituer

I have stayed here a number of times, and each time has been fantastic. I would thorougly recommend Schoenhauser Appartments and will definitely come back to stay next year!

Happy with the location, size and styling of the apartment and swift check in. From the main hall to the apartment itself, the atmosphere is great. Two points of minor criticism:

-the side of the wooden plank of the wardrobe as well as the underside of the table in the room are full of splinters, which damaged my clothing.

-after two nights we noticed that our towels had not been changed. When we enquired at reception, the lady told us that with our four nights booking we actually did not qualify for a towel change. One small and one big towel per person for four nights seems silly to me and not very hygienic.However, extra towels were indly left in our room. But to our amazemenet the used ones were left in the bathroom.

We are also wondering when the apartment itself would have been cleaned when we had stayed longer. We would love te return for a longer stay, but at one point one needs a hoover!

Even so, we will be back. Thank you!

Incredibly quiet, clean, convenient, comfortable suite/appartment, with a basic kitchen and a big modern tiled bathroom (deep tub, towel warmers). Rooms face a residential garden courtyard, so very peaceful, but half a block from the U-Bahn, and 2 blocks from a good organic ("bio") grocery, 3 blocks from a normal grocery. Very nice, helpful staff. Only problem was that we couldn't get skype to work, and international calls into the room phone seemed to have to go through the desk, which has limited hours. Excellent stay!

Buena opción para visitar Berlín. Nosotros eramos 5 amigos y estuvimos en un apartamente a unos metros de la recepción del hotel, de dos habitaciones con cama doble y salon con dos sofás. Cerca de Alexander Platz, a 10 minutos andando, y al ladito justo de la estación de metro Rosa Louxemburg. Barrio seguro, con tiendas y alguna discoteca (sin demasiado ruído). Probablemente volveré si visito Berlín próximamente.

Lovely spacious apartment, which overlooked a pretty courtyard decorated for Christmas! Very good location - great Christmas market just up the road at the Kulturbrauerei and only a short walk to Mitte and Alexanderplatz. A supermarket is opposite and open late - good for getting in supplies.
Only spoke to staff on check in and check out, and did not use the services provided (cafe/taxi/bike hire etc) - so cannot comment, but they seemed nice and helpful.

Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden - das Zimmer hell, sauber und freundlich. (wir - gibt es auch etwas zwischen "junges" und "älteres Paar"?)

Manko -  das Internet hat sehr schlecht funktioniert. Eine zweite Sitzgelegenheit neben den knochenharten Küchenstühlen wäre kein überflüssiger Luxus - oder wenigstens ein Sitzkitzen? Eine nur einmal wöchentliche Reinigung scheint zu wenig - zumindest sollten Staubsauger oder Besen zur Verfügung stehen.

Bei der Buchung wäre es wichtig zu wissen, dass es Zimmer zum Hof - also ruhiger - und eben auch zur Straße gibt.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was a good location, the apartment was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed.

The stairs to the fourth floor were steep at the end of the day but we would return. We will recommend the part mento our friends.

well, in general everything was fine, but two things are not up-to-date for Berlin:

WiFi in 3rd floor was hard to get connection with iPad and iPhone, only limited and if in slow speed, only :-( 

only a handfull german TV stations (5 of 30 possible) on the teli, and only the boring one´s.

So if you like to chill evenings, you can´t see teli and you can´t load videos via iTunes due to the bad conncetions.

Verkehrsanbindung ist etwas schwierig (Stau und Baustellen) aber schön Zentral.

Wird nicht letztes Mal wo ich hier übernachte.

We had a lovely stay at Schonhouse. The apartment was big and bright, with lots of room for our one year old son to play. It's situated nicely with a short walk to both shopping in Mitte and playgrounds and cafes in Prenzlauerberg.

Hotels' location is good, staff were helpful and polite. I'd like to add some points;

- The entrance of the building - there is also a restaurant- has very bad smell, it needs a strong air-cleaning.

- I noticed that on the evenings at the same time ( 8 pm ), wi-fi connection had been lost for 15-20 minutes.

- There is no slippers at the room.

The shower is not solid.

Fantastic location ! You don't need to leave the area at all Appartments are clean and modern, also deli was really great to have with good, fresh food served there. Highly recommend to stay at Schoenhouse.

Nachteil ist die begrenzte Öffnungszeit des Empfangs,da Reisende,die außerhalb dieser Zeiten ankommen,recht hilflos wirken.Dieses gilt besonders für ausländische Gäste,wie ich selber 2x erleben musste und versucht habe,weiter zu helfen.,einmal einem holländischen,einmal einem englischsprachigem Paar.Ein deutlich sichtbarer Hinweis,möglichst mehrsprachig,wäre hier eine deutliche Verbesseung

The apartment was great, close to transportation. No cleaning done everyday,No new towels,  shower without door, flooding the floor. Taxi promised since early departure, no show ... Hard with 3 kids to fit in taxi, therefore had to find and pay 2 differents taxis to go to airport

Die ruhige Wohnlage und die ummittelbare Nähe zur U-Bahn sind für Familien sehr angenehm. Wir empfehlen für den Abend einen Ausflug zum nah gelegenen Käte-Kollwitz-Platz!  Einige gemütliche Weinlokale und verschiedene Restaurants laden zu einem netten Berlinabend ein.

We were a group of six, one family with two parents, two teenage children and two close relatives, staying four nights in Schoenhouse apartments. We enjoyed a beautifully furnished apartment, clean and comfortable, with a terrass connecting to the inner courtyard. Great with the deli next to the reception, to get a good meal, a drink or just stop by for a coffee. Schoenhouse Apartments are situated perfectly, with great restaurants, nice shopping area, the underground and super markets virtually just out the door. We all want to go back there and highly recommend it to others.

I stayed at the Schoenhouse Apartments from 2 to 5 November 2011 with my husband and daughter.  We would definitely recommend the apartments to other travellers - fantastic location and very spacious and clean apartments.  The staff are charming and the price is excellent - especially for a city stay. 

Alles gut, nur leider keine Verbindung zum Internet (trotz Router Neustart) und Kaffeemaschine leider ohne Kaffeepulver oder Teebeutel.

We had 4 perfect days at the Schoenhouse apartments. Keywords when thinking back on the stay are welcoming, trustworthy, fresh and comfortable. As we were interested in the pre- and post WW II history and development in Berlin the location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance to many memorable and interesting sites in the previous East Berlin.

Es war einfach sehr schön.Die Lage ist optimal.Das Frühstück ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.Man müsste nur beim Buchen darauf hingewiesen werden, dass man eine Parkvignette dazu buchen kann.

Sehr gutes Konzept. Gute Lage zur U-Bahn und zum Stadtzentrum. Alles wichtige war ganz in der Nähe (Supermarkt, Bäckerei, Pizzeria).

Wichtigste Ausstattung war vorhanden (Spüli, Spültuch, Kaffeemaschine, Filter, Toaster, Kühlschrank, Pfeffer, Salz, Zucker).

Man kommt an, fühlt sich wohl in der hellen und modernen Atmophäre und findet alles vor, was man braucht.

Ebenfalls haben wir das kostenfreie WLan geschätzt.

Wir würden gerne immer wieder kommen!

Waren angenehm überrascht, kommen bestimmt wieder, ist in Berlin eine sehr gute Alternative zu den Hotels.

Your reaction that we have booked an appartement at the 4th floor without an elevator was too late. We're already on our way. This information must be available bij booking. Because I have lungdisease this is very important information and this had some influence on our stay!

Das Sofa im Appartement 302 ist als Bett nicht sehr komfortabel bzw, für diesen Zweck eigentlich mit guten Gewissen nicht einsetzbar. Es fehlt ein Hinweis, wie man leere Flaschen entsorgen soll. Ansonsten war alles klasse. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Perfect apartment massive could live in it if wanted.Next to the u easy access from airport just get the s9 line then the U2 line. Staff really helpful and apartment got kitchen fully equipped even with sugar, salt and pepper, kitchen roll filter papers for the coffee maker, we asked for an iron and board no problem left it with us for whole stay. Location is great 1 min to the metro you can see the tv tower and not far walk either lots of restaurants and bars near by we found one 2 min walk happy hour 7-9 only 3 euros knockout. When we come to Berlin again not if but when as magic city we staying here. Even though we did not use deli food smelled amazing but bio supermarket over road so can fill fridge up as well highly recommend if you like your own space instead of a cramped hotel room.

I really enjoyed my stay at Schoenhouse - I thought that the service and staff were very kind.  I also enjoyed the breakfasts.  The aparments are in a great location.  Although the building was very clean, I haven't filled in "cleaning" since the apartment, unlike an hotel, wasn't cleaned on a daily basis.  The apartment was very clean on my arrival.  Thank you for your hospitality.  kind regards, Ruth

Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll und detailliert renoviert und gehalten. Es hat eine gute Lage nahe am öff. Verkehr, Lebensmittelgeschäfte und in einer spannenden Gegend.

Das Schoenhouse Suite war sehr räumlich, sauber und hell. Es wäre jedoch super mit ein paar ekstra Stühle oder evt. ein hohes Cafétisch mit 2 Stühle, wenn man wie wir 6 Personen sind. Auch als Ablage für Klamotten Abends im Schlafraum 1 hätte ein ekstra Stuhl gut geholfen. Die Schlafräume sind gross und es gibt gut Platz für mehrere Betten, damit mann nicht auf den Couch im Wohnraum schlafen brauchst.

Es hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt - und wir werden es weiter empfehlen.

What a nice place to stay in Berlin! Very friendly people. The apartment was nice, clean and had a lot of space. The location is perfect. Next time again!

I think that an every day cleaning would be interesting. Another thing that could be improved is the breakfast, by including more options or a buffet style. Also the way to the rooms. It was raining and we had no umbrellas, so we got really wet.

As it is not a hotel, but apartments, there was not cleaning service during my stay, and also no service is offered, I cannot quote those itens.

The people in the receptiobn is very polite and agreable.

Die Unterkunft ist strategisch super gelegen und für eine Städtetour gut ausgestattet (wir hatte das friends-Zimmer).

Das Einzige, was "gefehlt" hat, war eine gemütliche Sitzecke, für ausreichenden Platz für vier Personen, wo man nach nem anstrengenden sightseeing-Tag mal die Beine hochlegen  und den Tag gemütlich und entspannt (vielleicht bei einnem Gläschen Rotwein) ausklingen lassen kann.

Ansonsten war, für ein sightseeing-weekend, wirklich alles super!

This is a great place to stay if you want a roomy place with kitchen.  Staff is extremely helpful.  The area is not central but right next to transportation anywhere in Berlin.  The area has everything you need--good restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, drug store.  Prenzlauer Berg area is great. 

This was an excellent stay and we enjoyed it very much, only caution was were not aware there would be so many stairs but it kept us fit  The deli cafe downstairs was also excellent both in price and food. Would certainly recommend as close to everything you want to see, all within easy walking distance.

The apartment was spaciuos and nice. However its beginning to be worn out. Examples are; a shelf in the hall that almost falls of the wall. One double bed is broke underneath. The showercabinet door is broke. The shoeself in the kitchen falls apart and the upper tray in the dishwasher lacks parts which makes it not work proper.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Anlage (gerade auch die Lage) und der Organisation des Hauses. Uns gefiel die Ruhe und Größe des Appartements. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Für ältere Besucher mag der Schlafpodest etwas schwierig sein.

5 Min vom Alexanderplatz entfernt. Alles hat gut funktioniert. Die Fahrradvermietung ist prima.

Apartment was very spacious and the staff very helpful thank you Katarina and co. The food at the deli was beautiful Andy and breakfast was awsome. Laundry service was excellant although I got my clothes back still a bit damp but we did have alot of washing. Very accessible to metro and not far from main shopping areas.

Thank you Adina for all your help in checking us in and answering all our questions. The apartment was very comfortable and clean and very close to the metros and supermarket, pity we didn't get to stay there long enough but if I ever came back to your beautiful city I'd book to come and stay there. From booking to check-in to check-out we received friendly, polite service. The room we stayed in was very clean and pleasantly decorated.  The bed was also comfortable.  There was ample cutlery and crockery to allow for self catering if required. The appartment is 2 minutes walking distance to the underground, supermarkets and restaurants.  The only negative point we have - and it is a small point - is that we could hear the lift during the night (our room was next to the lift).  All in all a very pleasant stay.
